"Mix Master Mike came to prominence upon winning the 1992 New Music Seminar/Supermen Inc. DJ Battle for World Supremacy. Mike later joined the ground-breaking turntablist group, The Invisibl Skratch Piklz and went on to win the world DMC championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994 in various categories. After gaining fame, he hooked up with the Beastie Boys becoming their resident DJ"
